# OutboundGateway

> Static EU outbound IP addresses for applications, containers, Kubernetes, and AI agents. TLS passthrough (no decryption), dedicated EU egress IPs, GDPR-aligned EU data residency.

OutboundGateway is a static-IP HTTPS forward proxy. Cloud platforms, serverless functions, containers, and CI runners have outbound IPs that change on every deploy, which breaks API IP-allowlisting, firewall rules, and EU data-residency requirements. OutboundGateway gives each account a stable pair of EU egress IP addresses so outbound traffic always comes from a known, fixed source.

- Protocol: HTTPS forward proxy with CONNECT (SSL/TLS passthrough). Traffic is never decrypted, inspected, or modified — no man-in-the-middle.
- IPs: static (not rotating, not shared pools). Each proxy includes a pair of load-balanced EU IPs with automatic failover. 99.5% uptime target.
- Residency: EU-operated, EU-hosted, EU-controlled infrastructure. GDPR-aligned.
- Auth: proxy username + password; HTTPS_PROXY env var or standard proxy auth. No plaintext credential leakage.
- Endpoint: `eu-01.outboundgateway.com:8443`
